While at my local Marshals today I found several sets from Orly called Perfect Pair Nail Lacquer Duo Kit. Each set has two full size bottles and sold for $5.99 per set. Some sets were creams, others duochrome, and some glitter.
I purchased three sets; two of the sets are from the FX Collection; and then a random set with glitter.
The colors which came in the collections I purchased are: Rock the world, Rococo A Go Go, Rock-It (all three are from the Mineral FX 2011 Collection), Its Not Rocket Science (from Cosmic FX Fall 2010 Collection), Can’t be Tamed (Flash Glam FX 2012 Collection), After Party (Feel the Vibe 2012 Collection).
I hope you get a chance to purchase a few of these sets as gifts or to add them to your own collection!
The base color is two coats of Orly’s Pretty Ugly; the ring finger is Hard Candy Gummy Green. The nail decals came in a set I purchased from Claire’s, decales were placed on the nail after a coat of Seche Vite fast drying top coat was applied.
I hope you enjoy this mint manicure and if you participated in #mintmanisfortaliajoy be sure to share on instagram and Facebook!
For this Mani I used three Orly and a Wet N Wild mini polish to create a July 4th inspired manicure!
For the Pinkie finger I painted the nail red then made a half moon in white then randomly placed iridescent stars over the red.
For the ring and pointer finger I painted the base a glitter then used nail tape and painted one coat of solid colored polish. While the white and red polish was still wet I took the manicure tape off.
For the middle finger I painted the nail white and then added a red half moon then placed blue glitter stars along the edge.
All fingers where topped off with a Seche Vite top coat.
Today’s Mini Mani Monday is a Memorial Day edition! This mini edition was completed with red and white from a Wet N Wild Color Wave collection and a mini glitter blue from Orly, the stars are from one of Martha Stewarts glitter collections.
I started with two coats of white for the base coat, and then added some glitter blue over the ring finger. With a nail art brush I made the red stripes. Once the blue was dry I used my dotting tool and placed the iridescent stars all over my ring finger and then added a Seche Vite top coat to all nails.

Today I played with Sinful Colors Professional Savage and OPI Purple With a Purpose.
The Sinful Colors is a creamy matte teal, I put two coats on but one would have been fine. This will be a great pedicure color if you like matte colors. I did get some of the color on my skin and it stained it slightly.
For the purple design I used Mash stamp plate number 45 and OPI Purple With A Purpose. This is one of my favorite pedicure colors because like most of the OPI colors that I purchase it is vivid and vibrant and lasts for a very long time without chipping!
I recently started to use stamps on my nails, some colors work better then others when using stamps. Today I found that the Wet n Wild Wet Shine Black Crème is the best black to use with the stamps. The white base is Orly French Tip, and the plaid is from Mash stamp plate #39. Hope you enjoy the look!
Painted nails are happy nails!
To celebrate my first post and New Years Eve I created these fun New Years Eve nails!
Here is how to get the final look: I started with Seche Clear base coat, then painted my nails a fun color called Rain Storm by Sinful Colors Professional, this is a great color, I only needed one coat.
I then used Mash plate 43 with Orly Shine to create champagne bubbles!
The top coat is Faceted from Sinful Colors Professional which is like confetti on your nails!
