Limited Edition Glitter by Sinful Colors

Today while at Target I stumbled across three Limited Edition Sinful Colors Glitters!! I purchased them for $1.99 each.

The names are adorable: Listed left to right: Thats Elfed Up!, Sleigh My Name (Coffee shops do this often) and Santa Claws. Sinful Colors Glitter polishes are always on point and the right price which is why they are one of my favorite.

For the swatches I brushed on the first coat and sponged on the second, all have a top coat.

Santa Claws is a gold shimmer base with mixed sizes of hex glitter in both red and white.

Sleigh My Name is holographic base with mixed gold hex glitter and white stars, you will need to dig for the stars.

That’s Elfed Up! is a clear base with larger red and off white hex glitter with smaller round white and green glitter.

If you see these purchase them for yourself and to gift!

New L’Oreal Chateau Royale By Coloure Riche

While at Bed Bath & Beyond I spotted a new Display from L’Oreal called L’Oreal Chateau Royale By Coloure Riche, a wine inspired collection, the display states: Escape to Bordeaux in 7 vintage shades. In my opinion the shades and the names couldn’t be more perfect.

There are seven shades: (left to right in display photo)  Vineyard Blush, Wine Spriter, High spirits, Pinot Purple, Wicked Wine, Sangria Spalsh and, Pass the Vino.

I purchased four of the seven, which retail for $4.99 each, I did not have my Bed Bath & Beyond coupon with me or I would have purchased all seven.

Revlon Boho Chic by Gucci Westman

I found the new Limited Edition Revlon 2014 Boho Chic by Gucci Westman at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

This display had four polishes, three lip liners, four lip balms and one eye palette. I purchased three of the four polishes. Bohemian (a teal metallic) which I did not purchase, I have enough metallic and I am over teal polish at this time. I purchased Artsy, Confident, and Edgy.

The three polishes which I purchased are all a dark shimmer jelly filled with matching multi sized hex glitter and bar glitter. Each swatch has 2 coats. You will need a top coat on this polish to obtain a smooth top finish.

Sally Hansen Fall 2014 Runway Collection-New York Fashion Week

While at Bed Bath & Beyond recently I stumbled across a display of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polish, at first I thought this was from the spring 2014 Runway Collection but as I looked closer I noticed the shades were different from the spring collection. A quick Google search came up with nothing so I think its safe to say this is a new launch. The new Display is a Limited Edition display called Runway Collection New York Fashion Week.

In the display the shades are” left corner from left to right: Fall Pastels: Himalaya, In The Flesh, Cute-ture,Moulin Rose and Rhododendron, Front shades Dark Romance: from left to right: On the Mango, Somber Bliss, Ever Green, Dark Knight, and Ruper Red. Sally Hansen Create & Ornate Royal Statements-Limited Edition Polish

I purchased six of the eight Limited Edition Polishes from the Create & Ornate Royal Statements Collection. This collection has a black nail art pen, a white and silver nail art polish, four Matte Effect, and four Glitter Effect polishes which are the Xtreme Wear polishes.

This display was found at CVS and were purchased as a buy one get one 50% off.

Here is a picture of the display:

I purchased the four Matte Effects: Chain Mail, Wax Poetic, Blue Blood, and Royal Shyness, then two of the four Glitter Effects: Mind Your Manors, and Court Jest, I did take photos of the other two (photos below) and they are called Rogue Red, and Family Jewels. Rogue Red is much like Rouge Rush just with more red than pink.

The Mattes reminded me of the Quick Dri Matte, click here for swatches, however these went on much easier and has the brush which I like. Each swatch has two coats.

The Glitter Effects are all a mix of shard glitter, these swatches have one coat and went on smooth, the top coat is thin unlike recent glitter top coats from Sally Hansen.

Sally Hansen Limited Edition Color Foil Collection

Sally Hansen sent me the Limited Edition Color Foil Nail Makeup Collection. This is another collection found in the Summer 2014 Limited Edition I Heart Nail Art Liquid Mani-A Collections. Click Glitter  or Matte for more swatches from the summer collection.

There are eight shades to choose from, for this blog I am reviewing Titanium Flush, Purple Alloy, and Cobalt Chrome. There has been a lot of questions floating around on this foil collection such as do these stamp and how long does the shine last, I not only swatched but also test wore this polish to answer these questions.

The finish on this polish is a metallic mirror like finish which means every imperfection on your nails will show so be sure to buff up the nails before using this collection.

When using this polish you do not apply a base or top coat and you will need two coats for the perfect look. The polish goes on quick, make sure to take excess polish off the brush prior to application, the polish will dry fast so there isn’t a long wait time to add that second coat. The polish does come out of the bottle looking streaky (make sure to shake well) but it does fade as the polish dries.

I test wore Cobalt Chrome for two days at the office, gym and normal daily wear and was pleasantly surprised that the polish did not fade like OPI Push and Shove did. The polish does eventually receive a few wear spots but nothing a quick touch up can’t resolve.

Does it stamp? Yes it does however not every shade is like the other! Purple Alloy and Titanium Flush stamped very easily however Colbalt Chrome gave me a little push back and I think it is only because it dried quicker.

This collection is a high maintaince type of polish for several reasons, one you really need to buff those nails, two you will need touch ups every few days for extended wear. I will only recommend this polish if you do not mind the extra maintaince and you enjoy a chrome look on the nails!

L’Oreal Acid Watermelon From Neons By Colour Richie

I purchased Acid Watermelon from the L’Oreal Summer 2014 Limited Edition Neons By Colour Richie Collection. This collection has six shades to pick from and retail for $4.99 per bottle.

The shades are (from left to rigt in display photo) Banana Pop, Energenic Tangerine, Punchy Lychee, Acid Watermelon, Flashing Lilac, and Flou Azur.

This display was found at Bed Bath & Beyond.

Acid Watermelon has become a top five favorite of 2014 shade for me, it is a creamy pink that will take three coats. These neon shades do not seem to be over the top in neon they seem just right for a fun bright summer manicure or pedicure! If you find this display I highly recommend you purchase Acid Watermelon.

Taken outside.

Salon Perfect Paint the Town Red,White & Blue Collection

I purchased two bottles of Salon Perfect Top Coats found on the end cap display at Walmart. The display was patriotic and had some cool top coats along with solid colored polish, liners, pens, decals and tape. I purchased Star Spangled and Save Me a Spot.

My favorite top coat was Star Spangled, the top coat went on with a few stars but I did have to add stars with my dotting tool. Occasionally the stars would get caught in the brush.

Save a Spot For Me was a bust no spots came off the brush no matter how hard I fished them out. I used a dotting tool to apply each spot!

Both swatches have a quick dry top coat to smooth out the nail. I have long hair without the top coat the stars and spots would have been caught or tugged on my hair.

If you like the patriotic spots and are willing to use your dotting tool to apply then I say make the purchase otherwise save the $3.98. I would recommend picking up Star Spangled I can see this top coat being used in so many different nail art styles.

Miss Denim Nail Polish by L’Oreal

Over the weekend I spotted the Limited Edition Miss Denim Nail Polish from L’Oreal. This collection has six polishes from left to right in the display photo: Vintage Rose, indigo Classique, Skinny Jeans, Blue my Mind, Distressed Tourqoise, and Jean & Tonic.

Two were purchased by me at Bed Bath & Beyond for $4.99 each.

The display stated this is a distressed finish rock chick look. This polish is a texture so if you do not like textured polish stay away! The color choices are nice but we’ve seen this look before from Milani, Sally Hansen, and Revlon. If you missed out on locating the other Limited Edition textures then go pick a few up.

The polish is easily applied and each swatch has two coats over a clear base coat.

I purchased another polish from the Revlon Electric Chrome Collection-The Amazing Spider-Man 2. This one is called Spidey Sense; it is a delicious red with hints of pink and slight gold.
